About Trista Galvin

Therapist. Mystic. Bridgewalker.

Founder of Second Generation Work™ and Open for Growth

I’ve spent my life listening—to pain, to silence, to the subtle ways we leave ourselves behind.

I’m a licensed therapist trained in trauma-informed care, narrative work, and nervous system healing. But before I had the letters, I had the sense:
that our wounds carry wisdom,
and that true healing is not just personal—it’s ancestral, relational, and often cosmic.

I created Second Generation Work™ as a soul-rooted framework for those who were taught to survive by minimizing themselves.
It’s for those waking up—ready to reclaim their voice, trust their truth, and live from the inside out.

My work lives at the intersection of therapy and transformation,
science and spirit,
lineage and liberation.

I hold space for people who are done performing, pleasing, or pretending—
and are ready to do the deeper work of becoming.

Why “Second Generation”?

Because so many of us are living as the first in our line to interrupt patterns of silence, shame, and self-abandonment.
We are not just healing—we are changing the frequency.

This is the Second Generation—not by bloodline, but by consciousness.

Therapist & Mystic

I consider myself both.

I believe healing happens on multiple levels—nervous system, psyche, and soul.
I believe presence is sacred. Triggers are trailheads on the path to understanding.
Remembering who you are is a powerful act of rebellion.

This isn’t personal growth.
This is revolution.

The authentic Revolution:

What Second Generation Work™ Is Really About

This isn’t therapy as usual.
It’s not self-help. It’s not performance.
And it’s not about becoming better.

It’s about becoming real.

Second Generation Work™ began as a whisper—
a soft rebellion in the hearts of those who couldn’t keep living in roles, masks, and survival modes.

People who sensed that what they inherited wasn’t the whole story…
and that healing might be something more than symptom relief.
More like… a return.

This is the authentic revolution.
Not the kind that screams and burns down.
The kind that reclaims.

The kind that:

names what was once unspeakable

honors what the body has held for decades

invites you back to a Self that is both ancient and alive

This is for the ones who grew up adapting, performing, peacekeeping and asking:

What if I get to have a voice?

What if love doesn’t require self-erasure?

What if I don’t carry all of this?

It’s for the cycle-breakers.
The truth-tellers.

Second Generation Work™ is more than a method
It’s a movement.

Of people reclaiming their story
Restoring their presence
And recognizing the path was not meant to be traveled alone.
